Nice one getting most of it done 👏 I'm still a bit of a newbie here, made my first deposit recently and the whole wagering thing still confuses me a bit 😅 quick q if anyone can go easy on me: once you finish clearing the bonus, does the KYC check start straight away or can you request the cashout first? Trying to work out what the actual order of things is before I finish mine off. Also keen to know if anyone from Oz hit any withdrawal limits on their first cashout, was there a cap or did it go through fine? 🙏
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

No stress mate, nobody was born knowing this stuff 😅 From what I've seen the KYC usually kicks in when you actually request the cashout, so don't panic if nothing happens the moment the wagering clears - just have your ID and a bill ready so it doesn't drag. Nearly got caught out myself once clearing a bonus on the pokies and had to scramble for docs mid-cashout, never again. Anyone else found the verification quicker if you send it before withdrawing?
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

Tom's got it right, KYC normally triggers on the withdrawal request, so the wagering clearing itself is just step one. Where punters get caught is the maths underneath: check whether your remaining games contribute 100% toward the requirement, because plenty of pokies count fully while table games barely move the needle at all. On a small spin sample it can feel like you're flying, then variance drags you back toward the expected value, and the EV is still negative once the wagering multiplier is applied. For the newbie: don't wait until the balance is cleared to get your documents sorted. Have the ID and proof of address ready before you hit withdraw, because that's where cashouts usually sit in a queue. And keep a note of when the bonus expires, I've seen more requirements "lost" to the clock than to variance. 📊

Quick dumb q 😅 when Wollongong says games "contribute" to the requirement, does that mean some pokies only count part of each spin towards clearing? Thanks 🙏

no dumb question at all steve, that's exactly what it means. every dollar you spin counts a certain amount towards the playthrough - most pokies count 100%, so a A$1 spin clears A$1 of the requirement, but table games and some bonus-excluded pokies might only count 10% or even nothing at all, so you'd be grinding forever. check the bonus terms for the contribution list before you finish off that last bit, saves a headache later. ah well, we grind on

It's all hit and busted before, folks.

That contribution thing caught me out on my first deposit too 😅 stuck to the pokies the whole way through and it cleared fine. Do you get the full ID check sorted before the last spin or after?
New here, soaking it up.

@TiltKing777 do the ID before, learned that the hard way - got verified faster than my bankroll lasted 😂 cleared mine fine but donated the winnings back anyway 🤣
The only serious thing here is my bust.

@TiltKing777 do it before, takes five mins and saves the wait later. Though GrinderWin2001 cleared his fine and still donated it all back 😂 guaranteed minus long-run, eh mate 🤡💸
Show me the withdrawal first 😏

Good question from TiltKing, and the honest answer is most punters do it after, which is where the drama starts, I'd rather have my ID sorted before the last spin, that way a withdrawal request is just paperwork. On a small spin sample your variance can flatter you near the end of wagering, so don't confuse a lucky run with the requirement being beaten by strategy; the EV is still negative once you net the bonus terms off. 📊
RTP is a long-run number.

Massive thanks to everyone in this thread, especially CashOut_Max. Got my ID sorted early after reading that, hopefully makes the cashout less painful 😅 Getting close to finishing off the wagering now, this whole contribution thing finally clicked for me. Keen to hear if any other Aussies had KYC hiccups or anything weird at the withdrawal stage before I hit the button 🙏

@CashOut_Max spot on mate, ID first is the only way to do it. I did mine the day I took the Joo bonus and the withdrawal was smooth as, cash hit my account no fuss. Cleared a wagering req there last month and the pokies I picked counted 100% towards it so it ticked over quicker than I expected 🔥 And GrinderWin2001 donating it back is pure pain 😂 that's why I withdraw the moment wagering's done, no second thoughts, money's out and gone. This slot pays when you respect the process lol. Anyway whoever's still grinding, get that ID in now, future you will be grateful 🤑💰
