Pokies might count 100% while tables count 10% or nothing, so the "30x" on paper becomes effectively triple that depending on your game choice. That's where people lose, less the expiry itself and more what actually counts toward turnover.
I keep a sheet of which games contributed properly on the couple of online bonuses I've taken, and the variance nuance there is that high-volatility titles can eat your balance before the wagering's done even with a decent RTP. Your spin sample on any one bonus is tiny though, so one lapse like JackManly's doesn't prove much either way. Rob's point about the Crown floor having no clock is half right.
