Fair dinkum question, because the playthrough is where these welcome offers live or die for me. My spreadsheet says the same thing every time: RTP is long-run, not one session, so what matters is which pokies actually count full weight towards the wagering and what the hit rate looks like on a small spin sample. I haven't cleared it myself, so I'm keen to hear who's managed a cashout, and how painful the KYC queue was before they'd pay the grand.
Volatility > vibes.

Freo_Dad, all the spreadsheet work in the world won't help until someone posts a cashout screenshot. Got one? Who's actually been paid here?

RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.

CasinoLadyx, you're dead right to ask for proof - that's where I land too. I've been at this game since the old hits actually felt fair, and I've had welcome bonuses chew through a couple hundred A$ without blinking. Still, I did turn 50 into 5k once on a run I'll never forget, so I know it can happen. The catch is always the wagering: which pokies count full weight, which count half or nothing at all, and whether the terms quietly exclude the very games everyone likes to slap. If nobody here can show a paid cashout from Casinochan, that silence says plenty, ah well, we grind on.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

No cashout proof from me yet, had two goes at the Casinochan offer and both times the wagering ate the balance before I got near the finish line. Same trap as BookVegas says - the games that count full weight are usually the ones that pay like a dead machine when you're clearing. If anyone's actually been paid here, post the screenshot, because I'd rather see real cashout maths than another spreadsheet theory 💸

BenEsky, that's exactly the pattern I'd expect, and it's got a name in my sheet: contribution-weighted variance. Most people chase the headline RTP when they're clearing a bonus, but the number that decides your run is the effective RTP of the games that actually count full weight. If those are all high-volatility titles, the wagering becomes a coin flip stacked against you, you can be playing a 96% machine and still bust out nine times in ten simply because the hit rate is rubbish and the playthrough wants too many spins through it. Freo_Dad's spreadsheet approach is right, though CasinoLadyx has half a point: the sheet tells you whether a clear is plausible, screenshots only tell you whether the site pays. Two separate questions. What I'd want from anyone who's finished the wagering here is which pokies counted at 100% and roughly how many spins they needed - without that, nobody's numbers mean much. 📊
Volatility > vibes.

Everyone's got a theory and nobody's got a cashout slip, funny that 😄 I turned 50 into 5k once on the old-school grind, but that was my own coin, no strings, bonus money's a different animal altogether. HobartLegend, your fancy contribution-weighted variance won't mean a thing if the KYC queue eats your win before the paperwork clears. Anyone here actually got paid, or are we all just donating?

Maccas hit on something worth pulling apart: your A$50 to A$5k run had zero wagering constraint, so you could withdraw whenever the balance peaked. With a bonus, the effective RTP of the restricted game pool drops once contribution weighting and max-bet caps come into play. A high-volatility pokie that's fine on your own coin behaves differently when you're forced to grind small bets through it, because you never reach the spin count where variance resolves in your favour. I'd add a second dimension nobody's raised yet: expiry. If the playthrough window is short, the required spins per day can exceed what your bankroll survives at that bet size, so the offer dies on time rather than on RTP. Has anyone here actually checked what the clock is on Casinochan's welcome terms? That single line decides more outcomes than game choice, on any small spin sample. 📊
Do the EV, then spin.

@AllInEveryTime_TillIWin spot on with the constraint angle. I ran Casinochan's welcome a few months back and the max-bet cap is what got me. Bet 2 a spin to stay under it, and that's when it hit on a bonus round, decent little bump 💸. But yeah, you're tethered the whole way through the wagering, can't just spike and cash like on your own coin. That freedom to withdraw at the peak is worth a fair chunk by itself. Having said that, bonus hunting is a job and the math still works if you stick to full-weight pokies and treat the bonus as extra volume. Cleared mine with A$340-ish style profit too, the two ladies above aren't imagining things 🔥. The contribution weighting only stings if you're grinding low-contribution games and wondering why the meter barely moves. Pick your pool before you take the offer, simple as that 🎰
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

Haven't cleared it either. My sheet says unless the full-weight games pay near their long-run RTP on your sample, the wagering grinds you down. Maccas had it right: your own coin, no strings. 📊
RTP is a long-run number.

@HobartLegend mate you lost me at contribution-weighted variance but I reckon you're onto something 😅 I just smash my favourite pokies on Casinochan every evening regardless of the weight, cleared the welcome thing last month and pulled A$340 out, could've been luck ah well 🔥🎰🤑

Cleared it twice, busted it three times more 🤣 the pub pokies at the RSL feel generous after that max-bet cap grind lol. Bank's gone, donated to the casino again 😂

@BonusBuyKing1991 mate the RSL pokies comment cracked me up 😂 but 2 clears out of 5 tries is decent returns tbh, that's how the welcome grind goes. I stuck to low-vol pokies for the wagering and it made the max-bet cap way less painful… still chasing that bonus round every arvo though 🎰🤑

@JackpotDreamsLoyal nah I couldn't do the low-vol grind, too boring 😅 I hammered my favourite pokie for the Casinochan wagering instead and yep, copped the max-bet cap once out of pure greed, voided the lot, lesson learnt 🤣 still love the promo though, this slot pays when she's in the mood 🔥🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@Dave777 busted a whole Casinochan run on one greedy spin and STILL loves the promo 😂 mate that's the most honest thing I've read all week. My bank's left in style plenty of times, no shame 🍀🤣
Bank memes are therapy too.

Cleared it once, busted it twice myself so I feel BonusBuyKing on that 😂 honestly the max-bet cap is the real boss fight here, JackManly copped it too. I just kept the bets tiny and let the bonus rounds do the heavy lifting, and when this slot pays it PAYS, hit a ripper bonus round mid-clearing and nearly fell off me chair 🔥💰🤑 Dunno about all the variance maths upthread, I smash my favourites every arvo and let luck sort itself out. Two cashouts sitting in my account history say the grind's worth a crack anyway. If your game contributes low weight though, bit of a trap ah well 🎰😱
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@JackManly so the max-bet cap is basically keep every spin under the limit while wagering, yeah? Total noob here 😅 does busting it void the whole bonus?

@Dave777 that's rough mate, one spin over the cap voiding the whole Casinochan bonus is brutal 😅 I'm still working out my first wagering run here, low-vol is the boring way but I'd rather grind it than bust the lot. Does the cap void everything instantly or just that spin? Still learning bonuses 🙏

@TiltKing777 one busted spin can void the whole thing, depends on the terms but Casinochan's been strict about it before. Read the fine print before you spin, that's the whole game 🤡 Dave mate you hammered your "favourite pokie" through the wagering, blew the lot on one greedy spin, and you still love the promo? 😂 that's exactly the house's favourite kind of punter. Guaranteed minus long-run, every time. Two clears out of five and everyone's cheering, so where's the profit after the other three busts? 💸😏
Show me the withdrawal first 😏

@CronullaDad fair call on the fine print mate, seen a bloke at work lose a whole Casinochan run the same way. Though word is their pokies page has one game that's been heating up for the wagering grind lately... won't name it, those who know, know 😏🤫
Mirror and promo in the DMs.

@TiltKing777 it depends entirely on the wording in Casinochan's bonus terms - some operators void the whole bonus balance the moment a max-bet breach is detected, others just forfeit the winnings from that particular spin. Never assume; scroll to the "max bet" clause before you start wagering. A$1 over the cap on a single spin can nuke a run you've grinded for hours, which is precisely why your low-vol plan is the sane one. High variance during wagering is just donating your clearing progress back to the house on a small spin sample; the EV is still negative either way, but low-vol at least keeps the variance from eating your rollover before you finish it. @NewcastleSouth a "heating up" pokie for wagering, mate, RNG doesn't run hot or cold in any way you can exploit. If a game contributes 100% to the rollover and its hit rate suits a grind, fine, but "those who know" is just variance wearing a mystery hat. Check the contribution table, not the vibes. 📊
