Bloody grind it is, cleared Level Up wagering myself once and lost two bonuses to expiry before I learnt to check which pokies actually count 100%. What ended up being your main workhorse for clearing, low vol stuff or did you chase the feature and hope? 💸🎰

Two expiry losses before I learned my lesson too, CronullaSouth. And the lesson was mostly about weighting, because half the fun-looking pokies on that list counted a fraction toward wagering and I only found out after burning a chunk of the clock on them. My workhorse ended up being the low volatility side of the catalogue, tedious as it is. The variance nuance here is that a dead high-vol machine can eat a whole session without moving the wagering needle, whereas low vol grinds steady contributions even when the balance drifts down. RTP is long-run, not one session, so on a small spin sample the low vol route simply survives long enough for the requirement to clear. I kept a little spreadsheet of contribution rates per game this time, after two bonuses expired on me, that sheet basically paid for itself. What expired for you in the end, the bonus funds or free spins you forgot were sitting there?
Volatility > vibes.

Turned 50 into 5k once on the old-school grind, back when the pub machines were meaner and the bonuses actually paid, so I've got a soft spot for anyone who sees a wagering list through to the end 😄 Bloody well done, mate. Two expired bonuses before I wised up too, so I feel that pain. The weighting trap gets everyone - you spend a week having a slap on the pretty ones that count 10% and wonder why the clock's running out. These days I check the contribution list before I even take a bonus, boring as that sounds. What got you over the line in the end, low vol slogging or did the feature bail you out?
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

Honestly hearing about two expired bonuses each makes me feel better about losing one to the clock 😅 I didn't even check the game weighting till halfway through either, wasted a good chunk of my time on pokies that counted stuff all. What finally clicked for me was sticking to the low vol stuff that counted full, boring as bathwater but the wagering meter actually moved. Still learning bonuses, so cheers for the tips 🙏

I only checked the weighting list after I'd nearly lost mine too 😬 Finished the last chunk on low vol stuff, kept it simple. The expiry timer gets everyone eventually, eh?

The weighting table being buried a few clicks deep is half the problem, I reckon. Nobody reads it until the clock is already eating their balance. What I do now is open the contribution list first and sort it mentally into full-count and partial-count before I place a single bet, then track my remaining turnover against the time left rather than against my gut feeling. On a small spin sample the progress bar lies to you anyway, especially on the games that only count a fraction. You feel like you're grinding through and you're barely moving. The expiry pattern in this thread doesn't surprise me either. High variance pokies burn the clock fastest because you spend long stretches in dead spins without much turnover landing, so the bonus dies quietly while you wait on a feature. Low vol stuff might be dull as watching paint dry but it converts time into wagering efficiently, which is what the timer actually cares about.

Only lost one bonus to the timer myself, was gutted 😅 Checked weighting straight after. How do you track partial-count games without going mad?
New here, soaking it up.

Partial-count stuff is where the timer gets you quietly, in my experience. I keep a rough spreadsheet of turnover against the clock - nerd habit from the day job, and the kicker is that a game counting, say, ten-ish percent per spin means you're chewing time five or ten times faster for the same clearance. Question worth asking before you pick: would you rather burn low-vol grind at full weighting, or gamble the clock on a feature-heavy pokie at partial? The latter only works if the expiry is generous.

Agree with HobartLegend about the partial-count games quietly eating the clock, that's what got me here too 😅 I only realised halfway through that my favourite pokies were counting barely anything, so the last stretch felt like forever. Now I check the weighting list before even depositing. Do you guys track turnover manually or just eyeball it? 🙏
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@ChasingJackpotsPro Checking weighting before depositing is the only sane move. Got a cashout screenshot from Level Up though? "Cleared wagering" posts mean nothing without proof of payout.

Cleared mine on the third attempt at Level Up, so this thread reads like my own diary 💸 Lesson that cost me two expired bonuses: always bet flat and low on full-count pokies while clearing, then do your having-a-slap on whatever's left after the cashout. I used to chase the feature mid-wagering and wonder why the timer ate my balance. Bankroll discipline wins, boring as it sounds. Also stopped touching anything partial-count unless the turnover was nearly done, those games are a silent clock-killer like HobartLegend said. Still got the spreadsheet question for you lot though - do you keep notes per session or just eyeball the remaining wagering in the account? I eyeball it and nearly paid for it last grind 😭
Bankroll discipline wins 💸

@JackFreo Big hit last night, nice. Got a cashout screenshot though? And NearMissRefugee, a "contact" tipping hot pokies, that's how they reel you in. No payout, no proof.

@JackFreo Congrats on clearing the wagering, but a couple of pokes at the logic. Flat low bets surviving wagering is survivorship more than strategy. On a small spin sample the variance swamps everything, and I'd wager half the punters doing the same thing busted out. And if you hit big post-wagering, screenshot the cashout; that's the part people actually want to see. 📊
