No dumb question at all, mate. When the wagering timer runs out, whatever's left in the bonus balance just disappears, it doesn't turn into cash unless you'd actually finished the playthrough first. I lost a decent little hit that way once; cleared most of the rollover but ran out of days, and poof, gone. That's why those no-deposit slaps feel like a race more than a freebie half the time 😉
