Tried Abigcandy Casino and now confused by the bonus fine print
I finally signed up to Abigcandy last week after seeing the name pop up here a bunch, put in my first deposit and grabbed the welcome bonus, and now I'm staring at the terms going ??? 😅 Total noob here, go easy on me.
The bit I keep re-reading is the wagering, like, when they say the bonus has to be played through a certain number of times, does that mean the bonus amount, or deposit plus bonus? I've been paraphrasing it to myself a different way every five minutes and I still don't trust my own reading 😂 Also does anyone know if table games even count towards clearing it, or is it pokies only? And what happens if I don't finish the wagering in time - do I just lose the bonus or whatever I've won off it too? Keen to hear how you blokes went with the fine print before I stuff something up 🙏
ClassicTV, screenshot the terms page before you touch the bonus, that's my one rule with offshore brands. The bits that actually decide whether you bank a win or watch it evaporate: how many times through the wagering is, whether the free games count at 100% or some sneaky reduced rate, and what the max bet per spin is while you're clearing. Get that last one wrong and they can void the lot, happened to a mate of mine years back.
Also check the expiry on the bonus itself. Some of these run the clock down quicker than a dead machine eats a Friday pay. I've had sessions where I cleared the wagering fine but left the withdrawal sitting too long and it got tangled up in pending-state nonsense. If you post the actual terms here (minus account details), the thread will rip through them in ten minutes and tell you exactly where the traps are. 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Gave that brand a look myself a while back, mostly out of curiosity after it kept showing up in the bonus threads. Turned 50 into 5k once on an old-school pokie down at the club, so I like to think I can read a terms page without going cross-eyed - and mate, the welcome fine print on these offshore joints is where they get you. TomRoller's spot on about the screenshot too, do it before you spin a single free game, because the page has a funny habit of changing after you've opted in.
ClassicTV, no shame in squinting at the small print, we've all been there. The things I'd check first: how many times through the wagering sits, whether pokies count at full rate or some fraction, and what the max bet is while the bonus is active, blow past that cap once and they can void the lot, learned that the hard way years ago. And keep expectations quiet, eh. These offshore outfits aren't under our local rules, so if a withdrawal goes sideways there's not much of a referee to yell at.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Quick question 🙋 the bit about free games counting at a reduced rate, does that mean they only count like part of your wagering through? 😅
Yeah mate, exactly that. If the free games count at a reduced rate, say 20%, then every dollar you spin in the feature only shaves 20 cents off the wagering. Turn 50 into 5k on an old-school pokie down at the club once, so I've read my share of these pages, and the reduced-rate trick is the oldest one going. You think you're flying through the requirements playing the fun games, then you check the meter and it's barely moved.
So on Abigcandy, do what Tom said and screenshot the terms first. If the free games count at, say, 10% and wagering is hefty anyway, you could hammer the feature all arvo and still be near square. Some brands even knock pokies out of the bonus entirely, so read which games count at full rate before you commit a cent. Ah well, we grind on.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
A$20 in and I hit the same wall reading their terms 😅 praying the pokies count full rate or the wagering will take forever. Anyone know how long these offshore payouts usually sit pending?

A dollar in the feature shaving 20 cents off the wagering is only half the picture though, isn't it? BookVegas's example assumes you know the weighting per game, and offshore terms pages love to bury a table of exclusions three clicks deep. I'd want to know which pokies actually count at 100% before anyone commits to a clear-through, because grinding the wagering on a reduced-rate feature is the slowest possible path - on a small spin sample the variance will eat you alive long before the playthrough moves.
And LuckIsAll, nobody in this thread can tell you the pending window for that brand from lived evidence so far, Maccas had a squiz and walked away, that's about the depth of our data. I'd add one more question to your list: does the bonus cap your max bet while wagering? Breach that on a single spin and the whole thing can be voided, which would make the reduced-rate debate academic. 📊
Reduced-rate features kill me too. Cleared a welcome bonus once thinking the free games were flying through, then the pending bar barely moved 😭 check the weighting table before you spin, saved me later.
This thread has honestly saved me from the same trap 😅 I only deposited at Abigcandy last week too and hadn't even noticed the weighting table thing. Found a couple of my usual pokies buried in the exclusions list, nearly spun the bonus through them blind. Do you guys clear the wagering on the table games instead or just play the pokies and cop the reduced rate?
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
Learned this the hard way myself, spent two nights clearing a bonus on a pokie that was counting 10% 😭 Now I screenshot the weighting table before I spin a cent.
@JackManly screenshot trick is smart mate, gonna steal that 😅 Abigcandy's pokies mostly count full for me though, always action on my favourites there and it's paid plenty 🔰🎰🔥
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Lol 10% weighting, that's straight up robbery 😭 I've been spinning my favourite pokie at Abigcandy every arvo after work and the pending bar has always moved pretty quick for me, guess I got lucky with which games I picked. Never even thought about screenshotting the table before, stealing that off JackManly too 🔥
Only got cleared a welcome bonus there once but it paid like A$380 so honestly didn't even check the fine print after that, hype brain took over 🤑 kind of scared to look at the exclusions list now after what you blokes are saying... might actually check before my next deposit lol

@LuckyLadyVIP quick pending bar means nothing until you've pulled a withdrawal through, that's where Abigcandy's fine print usually bites. "It paid me" from one regular punter isn't proof either, post a cashout screenshot with the A$ amount and timestamp and I'll take the luck claim seriously. I'd also check the licence and blacklist status before spinning another arvo there.
Licence first, deposit after.
