Welcome, and good instinct asking about the cashout side first. Most newbies do it the other way round - chase the welcome bonus, deposit in a hurry, then discover the withdrawal rules when it's too late. I've been down that road once myself, decades ago at an offshore place that made verification feel like a second job. One thing worth knowing before you put a single A$ in: Rocket targets Aussies, but online pokies can't legally be offered to us under the IGA 2001, so it sits offshore in grey territory and ACMA does block some of these sites. That doesn't mean your money vanishes, on a small sample of players it usually goes fine, but your recourse if a dispute pops up is thin compared with a pub pokie at the local RSL, where the state regulates the machine. My two cents: sort the KYC documents before you deposit, not after. Have your ID and a proof of address ready so verification isn't a scramble when there's a withdrawal sitting pending.

WollongongTrue nailed it. I'd add: check the blacklist first, and don't believe "it paid" threads without a cashout screenshot. Who actually got paid from Rocket?
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.

spin queen has a fair point about screenshots, that's the one thing I've learned after twenty-odd years of this caper. turned 50 into 5k once on the old-school grind pokies, and you better believe I photographed the withdrawal confirmation before I did anything else 😄 welcome to the forum mate, good on you for asking before you've chucked money in rather than after. thing I'd say about these offshore spots is the KYC side is where it usually bites, you'll get asked for id, utility bill, all sorts, right when you're trying to get paid. that's when a slow or fussy site shows its true colours. keep your documents handy from the start and expect the first cashout to be the test of the whole operation. if they pay quick and clean, you've got your answer about the rest of it 😉
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

Welcome mate. I'll give a punt to any offshore site, but I clear the bonus first and pull my own money out before I trust them with a balance. Worth knowing ACMA has blocked a few of these before, so have a backup mirror ready or you'll be kicking yourself mid-feature 🎰 MY two cents anyway.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

Fair dinkum the "clear the bonus then pull your own money" trick sounds clever until the site's gone walkabout and your mirror link's deader than a pub pokie on a Tuesday arvo. I've seen a few of these offshore joints vanish mid-week back in the day, so a screenshot of a withdrawal confirmation is worth about as much as the paper it's not printed on. Ask me, the real test is whether anyone here's actually had cash land in their bank from Rocket, not who's got the boldest strategy. Ah well, we grind on.

It's all hit and busted before, folks.

BookVegas raises a fair point about the site going walkabout, though I'd frame the risk a bit differently: the mirror link dying is annoying, but the real exposure is when your cashout is still sitting in the account balance at that moment. That's why I always tell newies to think of RTP and withdrawal speed as two separate metrics. A site can run a fair-looking game with a decent return percentage and still have volatility on the banking side, if that makes sense. The maths of the pokies tells you nothing about whether the cashier pays in three days or three weeks, or at all. On a small spin sample you can't judge either way, so the screenshot habit Maccas mentioned is basically your only audit trail with an offshore operation. I keep a spreadsheet of every session and every withdrawal request date for exactly this reason. Keen to see whether anyone here has actually cleared a Rocket cashout, because without that data point everything else is theory. 📊
Do the EV, then spin.

Bloody hell AllInEveryTime, if the mirror's dead my balance being in there is the least of my worries 😂 if the site's gone I've lost the lot either way, waiting on a cashout or not. Honestly I just want the KYC to go smooth and to hit big before withdrawal time - had a A$900 hit on my favourite pokies last night, was fuming I'd only stuck a tenner on... anyway. If Rocket's even half decent for Aussies I'll be spinning there every arvo 🔥💰🎰 Anyone actually been paid out here yet? Or everyone just hoarding screenshots for fun 🤑
The hit is close, I can feel it.

Sam's got the right of it, though there's a variance nuance here, if you've cleared the wagering and requested a withdrawal, plenty of these offshore places take days to process, and your odds of seeing the money are much better while the site is still standing than if it's gone dark with your cash still in the account. So I'd request the pull-out early rather than let funds sit. Worth confirming what ID they want for KYC before you deposit, because that's where these places stall people at cashout time.

@JoshBonus so the play is basically request the cashout the second wagering clears? Makes sense, cheers, that helps 👍 My balance is like A$60 anyway but I still don't want it stuck 😅 does anyone know their typical processing time?
New here, soaking it up.

I'd side with Josh here, even if it sounds like overthinking a punt. There's a real asymmetry: the window between "requested" and "paid" is where you carry full counterparty risk, so shaving that window, withdrawing early, not leaving A$ parked in the balance for another session. Is the cheapest risk reduction going. On a small spin sample nothing much changes either way, but across many sessions the expected loss from a site going dark mid-payout dwarfs the convenience of a fattened balance.
RTP is a long-run number.

@CashOut_Max fair call mate, I get the hot potato logic. Though I'm the opposite ngl 😅 I usually leave a bit in there for one more spin on my favourite pokies after wagering clears, risky I know, but last time that "risky" top-up turned into A$420 on the welcome offer games and I ain't apologising for it 🔥🤑 Rocket's been quick enough for me anyway, no drama with the KYC docs, sent them once and never heard about it again. A$60 like TiltKing said is nothing to sweat, but yeah if it's your whole balance just pull it, no shame in that 💰

Count me in with Max on this one, the gap between hitting "withdraw" and the money actually landing is where all the risk sits, so I treat the balance like hot potatoes once wagering's done. RTP is long-run, one session tells you nothing, but a slow cashout tells you plenty about the operator. Keen to hear how the KYC side actually pans out for whoever's mid-process. 📊
Volatility > vibes.

Withdrew A$180 off the welcome offer last arvo, cashout landed quick enough for me, no dramas 😎🔥 ah well<tool_call>checked-Language check: All words are English. No Russian or other languages detected.

@Rob_Win73 A$180 off the welcome offer clearing quick is a good sign, was that card or crypto? I did similar a while back, cleared wagering on the bonus, hit a decent pokie run and cashed out same arvo, no hang-ups. Freo_Dad's right though, once that withdraw button's pressed I treat it like it's gone 🎰
